What we do best

Medicare guidance without the guesswork

Medicare is confusing. Our job is to translate it into plain English, lay your real options side by side, and make sure you’re not overpaying — or under-covered.

🏥

Medicare Advantage (Part C)

One plan that bundles hospital, medical, and often prescriptions, dental, and vision. We compare costs, doctors, and networks across carriers.

  • Plans compared side by side
  • Your doctors & prescriptions checked
  • Dental, vision & drug coverage
🛡️

Medicare Supplement (Medigap)

Extra coverage that pays what Original Medicare doesn’t — like deductibles and copays — so a hospital stay doesn’t wreck your budget.

  • Plan G, N & high-deductible options
  • When you’re guaranteed acceptance
  • Which carriers raise rates the least
💊

Prescription Drug Plans (Part D)

The wrong drug plan can cost you thousands a year. We run your actual prescriptions through every plan to find your lowest total cost.

  • Every plan checked with your medications
  • Local pharmacy & mail-order prices
  • Reviewed again every fall
Simple by design

Three easy steps. Zero confusion.

No jargon. No pressure. Just a clear path from “I’m lost” to “I’m covered.”

Questions we hear every week

Medicare questions, answered plainly

The things Washington seniors ask us most — answered the way we’d answer at your kitchen table. Tap a question to open it.

When do I sign up for Medicare?

For most people, your first chance is your Initial Enrollment Period — the seven months around your 65th birthday: three months before, your birthday month, and three months after. If you’re still working and covered by an employer’s plan, you may be able to wait without a penalty. The right timing depends on your situation, and getting it wrong can cost you — so it’s worth a short conversation before your window opens. We walk Washington seniors through their exact dates for free.

What happens if I missed my Medicare enrollment window?

Don’t panic — but don’t wait any longer, either. Missing your window can mean late-enrollment penalties that follow you for as long as you have coverage, and you may have to wait for the next enrollment period to sign up. The good news: there are general and special enrollment periods, and many people qualify for one without realizing it. Tell us your situation and we’ll map out your next chance to enroll and what it means for your costs.

What’s the difference between Medicare Advantage and a Medicare Supplement?

Think of it as two different ways to cover what Original Medicare doesn’t. A Medicare Supplement (also called Medigap) works alongside Original Medicare and helps pay its deductibles and coinsurance — you can see any doctor who accepts Medicare, anywhere in the country. Medicare Advantage replaces Original Medicare with one plan from a private company, often with extras like dental or vision, usually within a local network of doctors. Neither is better for everyone — it depends on your doctors, prescriptions, travel, and budget. We lay both side by side, in plain English, so you can see the real trade-offs.

Can I change my Medicare plan during AEP?

Yes — that’s exactly what the Annual Enrollment Period is for. Every year from October 15 to December 7, you can switch Medicare Advantage plans, change your prescription drug plan, or move between Medicare Advantage and Original Medicare. Your new plan starts January 1. Because plans change their costs, drug lists, and doctor networks every year, AEP is the time to check that yours still fits. A free review with us takes about 30 minutes, and there’s no obligation to change anything.

What does it cost to work with Prym Group?

Nothing. Our guidance is free to you — we’re paid by the insurance carriers when you enroll, never by you, and your plan’s price is the same whether you use us or enroll on your own. What you get for that same price: a local, licensed agent who compares the plans we offer, explains them in plain English, handles the paperwork, and reviews your coverage with you every year. No fees, no pressure, no obligation.

Where do you serve — and do you make home visits?

We’re a local Washington agency serving families across Pierce, King, and Thurston counties — including Puyallup, Tacoma, Lakewood, Olympia, Lacey, Federal Way, and Auburn. And yes: home visits are our favorite way to work. We sit at your kitchen table, go through your doctors and prescriptions, and explain your options face to face — never through a call center. Prefer phone or video? That works too. Call or text 253.241.9397 to set a time.

Let’s find your fit.

Free consultation, no pressure, no obligation. We’ll look at your doctors, your prescriptions, and your budget — and show you what actually fits.
